The superior part has recently been ruined. It has an elegant portal with lintel, decorated with the coat of arms of the family and a phrase: “Hospes intrabis, stabis amicus, dominus recedes A.D. 1527” (You will come in as a guest, stay here as a friend, get out as the master) which is the hospitality motto of Trevi. This is one of the entrances of the palace of the noble Manenti (or Manenteschi) family, one of the most important family of Trevi during the XV century, so powerful that it attempted to fight against the  Trinci family from Foligno, thing that was fatal to them.
